OUR CURRICULUM

Young children smiling

We help your child gradually prepare for school with a continual emphasis on personal success and reinforcement of a positive self-image at each stage. We proudly use High Reach Curriculum for our toddler classrooms as well as the Creative Curriculum for our preschool classrooms. The goals for both types of curriculums are aligned with the Arizona Early Learning Standards. These standards cover a variety of concepts related to all aspects of a child’s development.

A quality learning experience needs more than top-notch curriculum. It needs a dedicated staff trained to give your child the opportunity to learn and grow in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our staff encourages active exploration with a balance between self-discovery and teacher initiated activities.

We offer learning centers, group activities, creative play, dramatic arts, music and movement, arts and crafts, outside play, and physical activities. There are daily opportunities for language and vocabulary development, problem solving, and socialization.

In addition to our advanced curriculum, your child’s development is continuously tracked and monitored through the use of individualized lesson plans and assessment forms. These forms along with work samples and anecdotal notes identifying specific samples of your child’s development are all maintained in your child’s portfolio. The teachers provide your child with the individualized attention necessary to move to the next step in their development. Bi-Annual parent-teacher conferences are held to discuss areas of growth and progress.

As a courtesy to our valued families, we want to inform you that we are closed in recognition of the following holidays:

  • Labor Day
  • Fourth of July (Independence Day)
  • Memorial Day
  • Thanksgiving weekend (Thu and Fri)
  • Christmas
  • New Years

Each child is allotted 12 vacation or sick days per calendar year for which parents are not charged. These days can be used after the first month of enrollment.
